Who we are

Cavaliero Finn was founded by Juliana Cavaliero and Debra Finn (nee Burtt) who met at Warwick University in 1988. It was here that their collective passion for contemporary art and design took hold and grew while they studied art together.

Having spent ten years working at the high end of the art world with some of the industry’s major players like Joseph Beuys, Ron Mueck and Gerhard Richter at the Anthony d'Offay Gallery and the art consultancy division of Arthur Andersen, Juliana believed that more could be done to help up-and-coming artists sell their work. She called upon Debra, who had spent ten years in PR as board director of PR agency Consolidated Communications, to help.  Based on her own experiences of starting a collection, Debra also felt that the consumer experience could be much improved, particularly for entry level collectors, and so the seeds for Cavaliero Finn were sown.
