Dan Dixon Spain's mixed media work explores the passage of time.

He combines the weathered and bleached, found pieces, paint, posters and photographs and uses them as his vocabulary to create a narrative in each piece of work.

Dan uses hand-coated silver gelatin emulsion in a lot of his work. Like painting with photographic negatives, he uses this process to paint images on canvas, walls, screens and doors.

As well as exhibiting his work in London, Dan Dixon Spain has worked on commercial projects with Budweiser, L'Oreal and T in the Park.
